We take your privacy very seriously, as a buyer and as a seller.

We do not share our users email addresses or contact information with anyone and the only reason we require your email or contact information is to contact you via the website in the case where you have elected for an alert to be sent, or to verify your account or to help you recover your password.

As a Seller
We use your email address to forward a message to you when a potential buyer attempts to contact you via an item you have listed on this website, and in this case the email address is not disclosed to the user, it is hidden, and the message will be sent through our internal emailing system. You may then volunteer your email address to the interested party at this point or continue to communicate using the contact form system.

Your Postcode will be used on your Item Listing page, to illustrate the area the item is sold in, and also when creating a map with Google Maps, but this is only a rough estimate of your items location, as the map centers on the Suburb relating to the Postcode. We don't generally think listing your home location on the website is a good idea, but the option is yours.

If you are an eBay seller your item may be listed on our site automatically - if you wish to have it removed please contact us and let us know and we'll happily remove it for you.

As a Buyer
When signing up with our site you do not have to volunteer much information at all, simply a username, email address and a password. The site will also ask for your Country, but this is not required, if you do not feel comfortable providing this information simply ignore that field.
